Bomber who punched elderly pedestrian in custody for 7 days
Kathmandu. The administration has allowed the car driver who punched the pedestrian on the road to be detained for seven days. District Police Complex Kathmandu SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai informed that 42-year-old Paras Bam, who was arrested on Tuesday after the punching video went viral, has been detained for seven days by the District Administration Office Kathmandu for investigation.
According to him, Bam has been kept in judicial custody for the offense of indecent behavior. A team of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office arrested him from Bhotahiti in Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon. He was taken into custody by the traffic police and sent to the district police complex in Kathmandu for further action. Police launched a search after a video of a car driver hitting a pedestrian went viral on social media. According to the police, this incident happened last Saturday.
The bomber got down from the car and punched those people near the Maharajgunj chappal factory. SP Bhattarai said in his initial statement that the person had punched him because he was swearing at him. He said that more research is being done on this.
In a viral video on social media, a bomb falling from a car is seen abusing him and beating him. Then another woman comes and abuses her in the video. Then the car driver hit the pedestrian again.
