Bhotkoshi flood washed away 60 houses in Trishuli market area

Kathmandu. About 60 houses around Trishuli market in Nuwakot have been washed away due to the flood from Rasuwa, while Devighat area has been affected. Shambhu Prasad Regmi, Chief District Officer of Nuwakot, informed that no details of human losses have been received so far as the locals around the Trishuli river have gone to safe places after receiving the warning about the flood.

According to him, detailed details of the damage are yet to come. The flood swept away some houses in Trishuli market and two concrete bridges across Trishuli river.

Trishuli and Devighat hydropower projects have been damaged due to floods. Similarly, the flood washed away three blocks and a substation of a 25 MW solar plant.
