Kathmandu. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has informed that according to the latest information regarding the search, rescue and relief operations after the flood in Bhotekoshi, Rasuwa, 579 bodies have been found so far, while 1,924 people are still missing.

According to the authorities, 12 bodies were found in Rasuwa, 37 in Nuwakot, 40 in Dhading, 46 in Gorkha, 154 in Nawalparasi East, 27 in Nawalparasi West, 30 in Tanahun and 233 in Chitwan. It is said that the bodies found in Gorkha also contain various human organs.

Among those without contact are 28 from Nepal Police, 45 from Nepal Army, 13 from Armed Police Force, 15 from Customs Office and 15 from Immigration Office.
