Kathmandu. Bharat Prasad Parajuli of National Independent Party RSVP has been elected in Sindhupalchok Region No. 1 under the House of Representatives election. He won by getting 24 thousand 412 votes. His nearest rival, Madhav Sapkota, the candidate of CPN, secured the second position by getting 17,327 votes.
Previously, Madhav Sapkota, the candidate of the then Maoist Center, was elected from this region in the 2079 House of Representatives election by getting 30,408 votes.
