Beni Hydropower's IPO is open to public

Kathmandu. Beni Hydropower Project Limited has opened its initial public offering (IPO) sale to the general public from today. The company has issued 8 lakh 63 thousand 200 shares to the general public at a price of Rs 100 per share.

The Nepal Securities Board SEBON had allowed the company to issue 2080 thousand IPO shares worth 208 million rupees on 29 January 2082. The company has completed the distribution of 10 percent of the issued capital i.e. 10 lakh 40 thousand shares for local residents affected by the project and 1 lakh 4 thousand shares allocated for Nepalis working abroad.

Similarly, 20,800 shares have been allocated for employees and 52,000 shares for collective investment funds. The remaining 8 lakh 63 thousand 200 shares have been opened for sale to the general public.
