Balen's best wishes on Martyr's Day: 'May no one become a martyr again!'

Kathmandu. Balendra Shah Balen, a senior leader of National Independent Party RSWP, who is also a candidate for the House of Representatives elections, wished Martyrs' Day early this morning and wished that no one becomes a martyr again. During the election campaign, Balen, who is also the former mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, who is currently in Achham, mentioned that the youth and students had to sacrifice their precious lives in the Genji Movement last August because the dreams of the martyrs could not be fulfilled.
In this process, he said that the responsibility of making Nepal an economically advanced country has fallen on his shoulders by ending the long-rooted corruption and maintaining good governance.
"Just like 85 years ago, the youth and students who started a peaceful movement demanding the end of good governance and corruption in the Genji Movement of August had to sacrifice their precious lives", wrote Balen. This Martyrs' Day is a time to remember all the known and unknown martyrs and make their sacrifice meaningful by heart, word and deed. No one should become a martyr again.
