Kathmandu. History is not only a mirror of the past, but also a common memory of society. In addition, culture is a way of life that has been handed down from generation to generation. When these two are not recorded in time, the society gradually loses its original identity. Acknowledging this concern, Changunarayan Municipality-9 Tathali's history, geography, folk culture, archaeological heritage, religious beliefs and social life have been covered in a research book 'Tathali Geography to Folk Culture'.
The launch of the book published under the approved budget and program of Changunarayan municipality-9 ward office for the fiscal year 2082,083 and discussion program was held under the chairmanship of ward member Ravin Basukala. The program was not limited to the release of books, it was also established as a debate on the preservation of local history, the creation of cultural heritage and the responsibility towards future generations.
