Attention to Government by Nepal Forest Technical Association

Kathmandu. Nepal Forest Technical Association has drawn the government's attention to various policy and practical problems related to the forest and environment sector. In the press release issued by the association, it has been demanded to immediately solve the weaknesses in the personnel, technical and structural management of the forest sector. It has been mentioned that serious attention should be given to the challenges seen in forest management, employee rights, services and facilities in particular.

According to the association, it has been complained that the technicians working in the forest sector have not been able to work effectively due to lack of necessary resources, insecurity and lack of a clear policy. Similarly, the association has requested the government to take concrete steps to maintain forest protection, sustainable use and environmental balance. The union has also warned that if the demands are not met, it will go for a phased movement.
