Kathmandu. People close to them have said that an agreement is developing between Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the RSVP, and Balen Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu. Sources informed that the discussion between them is consensus-oriented and work is underway to prepare a draft of the agreement to document the agreement.
Asim Shah, Kumar Ben and others who played an important role in preparing the background for the discussion between the two young politicians are preparing the draft of agreement. The first discussion between the two leaders was held on Monday. After that, the leaders of other alternative forces were also invited to discuss on Thursday and the sources said that they are preparing to hold talks on Friday as well and reach a decisive agreement on Friday as soon as possible.
As the agreement is yet to be finalized, the points of agreement are not clear. However, the main point of agreement may be the unity of the party. Even if the two leaders are not flexible to unify the party, both parties expect to agree on electoral cooperation.
If it is agreed that there will be unity of the party, the unified party will put forward Balen as a contender for Prabhan Minister in the upcoming elections. Ravi's preference will be high in the party. After Ravi of the party, Balen will be in second place. The agreement has not been reached, but the allies seem confident that the party will agree.
