Arrest warrant issued against Deuba couple
Kathmandu. An arrest warrant has been issued against former Prime Minister and former chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife and former minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba. The District Court of Kathmandu issued an arrest warrant for investigation on charges of money laundering and illegal acquisition of wealth. The Money Laundering Investigation Department has taken arrest warrants against them.
Although the court has issued an arrest warrant, they have not been arrested because they are not in Nepal. Deuba couple is currently abroad.
