Are you going to Pashupati on Mahashivaratri tomorrow? What to see the rules of traffic management once?
Kathmandu. Preparations for this year's Mahashivratri festival have been completed. Pashupati area has been cleaned since dyeing. There has been a large presence of monks and saints. The police have also made plans for crowd management on the occasion of the festival. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has prepared a security plan to ensure the safety and orderliness of the traffic in the Pashupatinath area on the occasion of the Mahashivratri festival.
Traffic has been managed to facilitate the movement and darshan of devotees and pilgrims coming to the Pashupati area. Parking has been arranged at certain places for those who come to visit Pashupati.
According to the traffic, only if there is a situation where it is not possible to operate the vehicles running on the ring road due to the pressure of the visitors, traffic will be prohibited in the Gaushala area and an alternative route will be used to facilitate the traffic.
In Chabhil, Gaushala, Tilganga areas, arrangements have been made for safe driving of vehicles, but in case of heavy traffic and there is a problem in traffic, it is said that arrangements will be made for driving vehicles through alternative routes by making diversions.
All goods vehicles coming from Tinkune towards Sinamangal, from Buddhist area towards Gaurighat, Old Baneshwar, Gaushala and Mitrapark have been prohibited as per requirement.
Vehicles coming from Bagmati Corridor and Jorpati via Chabhil have been assigned a parking place across Guheshwari. If there is too much traffic at Gaushala Chowk and traffic is not possible, there is a plan to arrange the operation of vehicles running on the route from Chabahil to Gaushala, from Old Baneshwar to Gaushala, from Dyaneshwar Maitidevi to Ratopul to Gaushala, from Sifal Chowr to Jai Bageshwari.
This is the parking arrangement
1. Demonstrators' vehicles, pass-carrying vehicles, security personnel's vehicles at Sifal Square.
2. Pilgrims and pilgrims' vehicles across Guheshwari.
3. Vehicle pass carriers at Pashupati Development Fund office and Bhandarkhal.
