Application of 325 people to be proportional candidate from RSVP
Kathmandu. Until the end of November, 325 people have applied to be candidates for the proportional representation of the House of Representatives from the National Independent Party RSWP. According to RSWPA, the process of receiving applications continues. The RSVP secretariat meeting has decided to discuss the applicants in all seven provinces. The applicants will be discussed on 5th December. Provincial leaders have been appointed to facilitate the discussion.
352 people from all seven provinces applied to be candidates. The party called for the application as an exercise of internal democracy. The names of 352 people who applied to become proportional candidates were announced on January 3. Most of them are 94 from Bagmati province and only 20 from Karnali. Similarly, 60 people have applied from Koshi, 61 from Madhesh, 43 from Gandaki, 44 from Lumbini and 30 from Far West.
Accorig to the published schedule, the time for protesting the claims on the candidates has been fixed till January 4th, and after investigating the objections received, discussions will be held with the candidates in all the provinces on January 5th and from January 6th to January 11th, the measurement and preliminary election of the 'Leadership Academy and Political Proximity' will be conducted and the final candidate list will be published by January 14th, the coordinator of the party's candidate selection committee and in-charge of Lumbini province Bipin Kumar Acharya informed.
