Announcement of civil defense team to protest the arrest of Durga Prasai from today

Kathmandu. Controversial medical practitioner and royalist activist Durga Prasai has been arrested. In protest against Prasai's arrest, the Civil Defense Team under his tutelage has announced a street struggle from today. On Monday, he held a press conference and said that he was preparing for a movement to bring the country to a standstill on the 7th of November. Prasai was arrested by the Nepal Police from his residence at Thimi in Bhaktapur on the charge of trying to disrupt peace and security.

Prasai has now been brought to the Bhadrakali office of District Police Complex Kathmandu. Prasain and his supporters had announced on November 7 that they would protest against republicanism and corruption from Kathmandu.

Similarly, the Civil Defense Party has announced that it will start a struggle program from today in protest against the arrest of Prasain by the police. Leaders of Civil Defense Party have said that they will protest against the arrest of Prasain from today.

According to Prem Kumar Thamsuhang, General Minister of Civil Defense Party, we are preparing to start a nationwide movement from today without waiting for November 7th. He also said that the government has disturbed the peace by arresting Prasai in a kidnapping style.
