Kathmandu. Police have arrested an Indian citizen with 90 grams of gold from Tribhuvan International Airport. The arrested person is Narpatsingh Solanki, 45 years old, passport number B 6644934, the police said. On Tuesday afternoon, Thai Lion Air flight number SL-220 came from Bangkok, Thailand and was arrested while exiting the tunnel gate after being checked at the arrival customs area of Solanki Airport.
The police on duty took him into custody after becoming suspicious of his activities. According to the police, during the video x-ray at his KMC hospital, a lump of gold, 90 grams, was found wrapped in plastic in his anus. He was ordered to remove the item from the anus and kept it in the account branch of the Valley Police Office and sent him to the District Police Complex, Kathmandu.
