Kathmandu. On Sunday, the last trading day before Tihar, the stock market NEPSE index rose by 16.67 points to 2503.85. 6.199 thousand shares of 323 companies were bought and sold in NEPSE on this day, with a turnover of 2.79 billion shares. Today, while the share price of 163 companies increased, the share price of 78 companies decreased.
Today, Nepal Reinsurance Company's highest share turnover was 280 million 10 million rupees. In the second place, shares of Himalayan Dairy were traded for 253.6 million rupees and in the third place, shares of Union Hydropower were traded for 169.7 million rupees. On this day, the investors of Atmanirbhar microfinance financial institutions have earned the highest rate of 10 percent. Similarly, investors of Himalayan Power Partners earned 9.89 percent and investors of Bhagwati Hydro earned 9.88 percent. The unit holders of Himalayan 80-20 lost the highest rate of 6 percent today.
