AIG Vanshiraj Dahal suspended over sensitive information leak, committee formed

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs has suspended Additional Inspector General of Armed Police Force 9AIG Vanshiraj Dahal for allegedly leaking sensitive security information. According to a statement released by the ministry on Monday, the Armed Police Force, Nepal recommended to the Ministry of Home Affairs for action against Dahal by leaking sensitive security-related information and acting against official conduct.

According to the decision of October 19, the ministry suspended him and appointed an investigating officer to investigate the incident based on the recommendation.

The Ministry has instructed the designated investigating officer to complete the investigation and submit the report within three days. According to the ministry, further legal procedures will be initiated based on the findings of the investigation.
