AIG deployment for election security
Kathmandu. In order to make the election security orderly and secure, Nepal Police has deployed AIGH in the province for monitoring. Keeping in view the sensitivity of election security, AIGs have been assigned to monitor the state, according to the police headquarters. Similarly, SSPs are also going to be formed for some time in the districts of some provinces.
Jhapa of Koshi province, Dhanusha, Sarlahi and Parsa districts of Madhesh province are going to be filled with SAP. Similarly, SSP is going to be formed in Chitwan of Bagmati province. The police headquarters said that the SSPs will be deployed after the monitoring report of the AIGs.
"Based on their monitoring report, from the first week of February, SSPs will be deployed in the district and in some SPs will be deployed as additional support teams," said a police headquarters source.
