Kathmandu. Crude oil prices have fallen in the international market with signs that US economic pressure on Iran will intensify. The oil market fell on Monday after US President Donald Trump announced further economic measures against Iran. The price of Brent crude oil in the international market fell by 2.3 percent to around 92 US dollars per barrel.
The price of American crude oil also fell at the same rate. With the fall in oil prices, Asian stock markets have also had a mixed effect. South Korea's technology sector-focused Kospi index fell by 1.4 percent. Markets in Tokyo, Shanghai, Taipei and Wellington are also falling.
