Adding 'Overhead Canopy Bridge' on Narayangadh-Butwal road section
Nawalpur. Two more 'overhead canopy bridges' are going to be constructed in the forests of the Narayangadh-Butwal road section under the East-West Highway. According to the Asian highway standards, preparations are underway to construct two overhead canopy bridges in the forest between Kawasoti and Lakaha and between Chormara and Arunkhola in this section, which has been extended to four lanes.
According to Engineer Shiv Khanal, Information Officer of Narayangadh-Butwal Road Extension Plan, East Section, due to the increase in accidents on the highway due to monkeys, an overhead canopy bridge is going to be constructed to prevent the monkeys from crossing the road.
