A written agreement will be signed between Genji and the government on Monday

Kathmandu. The draft put forward by the Zenji protestors has been finalized and a written agreement is being made between the government and Zenji on Monday. With the aim of institutionalizing the issue of the movement, a draft was discussed between Genji representatives and Prime Minister Sushila Karki at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday. According to Koshi Province Coordinator Uparjun Chamling, the Prime Minister has promised to finalize the draft by Monday.

Chamling said, "We went to understand why the agreement on our draft is being delayed." The Prime Minister has said that it will be finalized by Monday. On October 28, various groups of Genji prepared a unified draft and submitted it to the government. In the draft, provision has been made for interim relief and free treatment for the families of the martyrs and injured of the movement. The proposal to release those arrested in cases other than heinous crimes has been included. An agenda has been set to develop the necessary infrastructure for the voting rights of migrant Nepalis. There is a provision to end appointments based on party divisions. A plan to gather citizens across the country about directly elected executives is also included.

Prime Minister Karki said that she has allowed all sides to study. Chamling said that the agreement was expected on November 1, but due to the delay, the Genji team went to the Prime Minister's Office again.
