75-year-old actress Bashundhara Bhusal says: Don't be afraid of getting older, but enjoy it
Kathmandu. Actress Bashundhara Bhusal has asked the growing age to understand that life is not decreasing but becoming experienced. Actress Bhusal discussed the issues of artistry and the challenges of age in a program organized for the release of the audio of the song 'Gayo Gayo Umer, Bazhabu Ramer', which was prepared with the theme of growing age, health and concern for children living abroad, at the Ranjana Cineplex Movie Building in New Road.
She said, "Aging has made us experienced." If we take care of our health, our attention will turn towards the beauty of growing age. We need to increase the positive side. I myself am now 75 years old, but my work has made me experienced, not old. The song has expressed such topics well, that's why the song has become beautiful.
Actress Bhusal asked singer Lakshmi Bhujel Maharjan to continue in the singing field saying that she fulfilled her wish even though it was late. When I started acting, it was difficult to get support from both family and society. I have also heard that the society praised me in front of me but cut things off. I am happy to hear that singer Maharjan has become a singer with the support of her family at the age of almost 50. I feel that our society is going to respect art more and more", she said.
Actress Mithila Sharma said that she was impressed by singer Maharjan's courage. She expressed her happiness to be a part of singer Maharjan's dream. Singer Maharjan is an example that age cannot stop us in anything. We are still doing our work, so we should not be afraid of getting older, but rejoice. "You have to be honest in your actions, this message is given by the song," she said.
Singer Maharjan said that even though she was interested in singing since childhood, she could not continue due to family obligations. Recently, Maharjan recalled that composer Shiv Shahi inspired her to sing a song when she was looking for a singer to fill in the words composed by sister Sushila Bhujel.
