4 thousand 53 disaster incidents across the country from May until now
Kathmandu. A total of 4,53 disaster incidents have occurred across the country from May 1st to July 17th. According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, 196 people lost their lives during that period. Similarly, 1,218 people have been injured and four are missing.
During that period, the maximum i.e. 1 thousand 24 fire incidents have occurred. There have been 716 snakebites, 231 lightning strikes, 57 falling into lakes, 685 landslides, 225 animal attacks, 200 floods, 480 storms, 227 heavy rains, 191 fires, boat capsizing and explosions.
