3 million direct ballots were printed
Kathmandu. So far, 3 million ballot papers have been printed for the direct election of the House of Representatives scheduled for February 21st. According to the Election Commission, the ballot papers of 25 districts have been printed. The commission said that ballot printing is being done regularly at Janak Shiksha Material Kendra Bhaktapur. The printing of 208,300,000 ballot papers for the proportional election system has already been completed.
Similarly, printing of 10 lakh 98 thousand 200 sample ballots has been completed for voter education purposes. In the meantime, with the aim of providing election education, the Voter Education Unit under the Commission's Election Information Dissemination and Coordination Center has so far published 158 materials approved by the Commission. Those materials have been placed on the Commission's official Facebook page, X, TikTok and YouTube.
