KathmanduF.  The 29th anniversary of Ganeshman Singh, the supreme commander of the people's movement for the restoration of democracy in the year 2046, is being celebrated today by the fraternal and well-wishing organizations of Nepali Congress with various programs.

An example of sacrifice and courage in Nepali politics, he is the leader who rejected the request of Raja Birendra to become the prime minister after the movement was successful and promoted his counterpart Krishna Prasad Bhattarai.

Singh was born on November 24, 1972 in Kshetrapati, Kathmandu and died on October 2, 2054. He became a member of the Praja Parishad and was actively involved in the campaign to remove the monarchy.
