18 disaster incidents across the country in one day, appeal to be cautious
Kathmandu. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has reported that 18 disaster incidents have occurred across the country yesterday. Two incidents of fire have occurred in Udaipur, Rautahat, Bara, Kathmandu and Kapilvastu. Only 15 incidents of fire have occurred.
In Makwanpur, Chitwan, Kaski and Kailali, a large amount of material property was damaged due to fire. On that day, a dry landslide blocked the road on both sides of Bensi Sahar (Chame road section) located in Naso Gapa 1 Taldanda of Manang. Snakebites occurred in Dhanusha and Dadeldhura.
Due to the disaster, two people were injured and the estimated damage was equal to 53 lakh seven thousand 550. Similarly, on November 5, there were 19 disaster incidents across the country, 15 of which were fire incidents. On that day, there were two fire incidents in Sunsari and Parsa.
According to the authority, material property was damaged due to fire in Jhapa, Panchthar, Sunsari, Khotang, Udaipur, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Lamjung, Parbat, Nawalparasi Purwa and Palpa. On that day, the road was completely blocked due to a dry landslide at Ribdikot 3 in Palpa. Those injured due to animal attacks in Saptari, Chitwan and Mugu were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Similarly, on November 4, there were 20 disaster incidents across the country, but only 13 were fire incidents. According to the authority, there were three incidents of fire in Rupandehi and Kaski on the same day.
