14-point agreement between US and Iran
Kathmandu. The United States and Iran have agreed on a 14-point memorandum of understanding for ending bilateral tensions, re-opening the Hormuz Strait, and a final deal on the nuclear program and economic sanctions. According to international media, the agreement was approved by US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezheshkian. It is said that this has entered into a new phase of the negotiation process between the two countries with immediate effect.
According to the memorandum of understanding, it has been mentioned that it has been agreed on the immediate re-operation of the Hormuz waterway, the management of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile and the gradual easing of economic sanctions.
