11th Congress of UML, 10 thousand volunteers will be mobilized from today
Kathmandu. The 11th National Convention of Nepal Communist Party UML is starting from today. The inauguration of the conference is going to be held at the open square in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur. UML Propaganda and Publication Department Head Rajendra Gautam informed that all the preparations for the convention have been completed and about three lakh participants from all over the country will participate in the inaugural session. In the opening ceremony, as a symbol of Nepal's unity, more than 200 tableaus reflecting art and culture have been prepared.
Chairman and representatives of 16 parties including Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba, Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' have been invited to the opening ceremony of the convention.
According to Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, director of the General Conference and UML Standing Committee member, congratulatory messages are being received from foreign diplomatic missions of various countries and representatives of various parties that have fraternal, friendly diplomatic relations.
