5 people involved in sexual exploitation of minors were arrested from various places in Kathmandu

Kathmandu- Five people have been arrested from different places in Kathmandu Valley for being involved in the crime of forcing a minor to commit sexual abuse. The police took action on the basis of special information that minors were sexually exploited by financial temptation in various dance bars, clubs, restaurants, spa centers and hotels in Kathmandu Valley. The defendants were arrested from different places during a special operation with permission from the Kathmandu District Court.

According to the police, the minors were rescued by raiding Golden Spa located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, Fire Lounge and Club located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7 Chabahill, Lassi Jharna and Club located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3 Thamel, Mithas Mishthanna Khajaghar located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26 and the food house located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

Police said that the rescued minors have been sent to various protection centers for safe accommodation. Police have informed that a complaint has been registered for the necessary action on behalf of the victim and further investigations have been started by the Kathmandu District Court after registering a case against the arrested defendant on different dates.
