Yambaling Hydropower will issue an IPO to the general public from May 16

Kathmandu. Yambaling Hydropower Company Limited is going to issue an IPO to the general public from the 16th of Baisakh. In the first phase, after distributing the IPO to project-affected and foreign employed Nepalis, the second phase is to issue the IPO to the general public as well.
The company has received permission from the Nepal Securities Board to issue 40 percent of its issued capital of 70 million rupees, i.e. 28 million rupees. Out of which, 700,000 shares have been distributed among the project-affected and 200,000 shares among Nepalis who are employed abroad.
Now, out of the remaining IPO, 1 lakh 5 thousand shares have been reserved for collective investment fund and 42 thousand shares for the employees working in the company.
