Main News Image

Kathmandu. Rashtriya Prajatantra Party RPP has made final preparations to take strict disciplinary action against its three provincial assembly members who participated in the Bagmati provincial government in clear violation of the party's central decisions, policies and directives.

Based on the recommendations of the Party Disciplinary Committee, Chairman Rajendra Lingden has taken forward the legal and political process to dismiss those MPs. Earlier, the RPP has already suspended Uddhav Thapa, the leader of the Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party, from ordinary membership, considering that he is involved in the process of government formation against the policy of the party.

A recommendation has been sent to the Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly to dismiss Thapa from the post of Member of Parliament of the Provincial Assembly. At the same time, the Central Disciplinary Committee had initially given a 12-hour deadline to the members of the Provincial Assembly Raju Bista, Rajendra Prajapati and Gir Bahadur Tamang, who took the oath of office as ministers.
