With Lumbini's victory, the playoff equation of NPL is complete
Kathmandu. Lumbini Lions became the fourth team to reach the playoffs of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League NPL by winning by four wickets against the former champions Janakpur Bolts. With this victory of Lumbini, the four teams that will reach the playoffs of the competition have been decided. Sudurpaschim Royals, Kathmandu Gorkhaz and Biratnagar Kings had already secured a place in the playoffs from the league stage of the competition.
With the defeat, the challenge of Janakpur Bolts, Pokhara Avengers, Karnali Yaks and Chitwan Rhinos has ended from the league stage. Lumbini achieved the medium target of 133 runs presented by Janakpur by losing 6 wickets in 19.1 overs in the match held at the Trivi Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur on Friday.
