Wife dies, husband injured in car collision in Dhanusha
Surlahi. A wife has died and her husband has been injured in a car collision in Dhanusa. According to the police, on Sunday morning, a car numbered Bagmati Province 01-031 Ch 2036, coming from Janakpur in Mithila Municipality (2 Naktaziz) towards Dhalkevar, hit a couple riding a bicycle.
55-year-old Sumitra Devi Mahato of Mithila Municipality (1) died on the spot. Her husband Raj Kumar Mahato, 60, was seriously injured in the accident. Now Raj Kumar is being treated at the Janakpur Provincial Hospital. The car and its driver are under police custody and the incident is being further investigated, District Police Office Dhanusha said.
