Gulmi. In Gulmi, the wife died tragically after being electrocuted by her husband to control wild boars. Humkala Bhandari, the 66-year-old wife of 66-year-old Bheshraj Bhandari of Dhurkot rural municipality (5 Mantari) died after being hit by a current placed to protect the crops. Two sons and a daughter-in-law of the Bhandari couple were in Dubai for work and their daughter was married, so they were living alone in the house.
According to the District Police Office, Gulmi, Bhesharaj Bhandari, who is about 150 meters away from the house, conducted an electric shock on Tuesday evening to control wild boars by passing current through an electric pole.
According to Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police 9DSP0 Birendra Bir Bishwakarma, Humkala fell into the trap at around 1:30 in the middle of the night. From the initial investigation, Humkala was aware of the fact that her husband had electrocuted her, but it was revealed that she had gone to the garden alone in the middle of the night, suspecting that a wild boar had fallen, and at the same time, she accidentally touched an electric arc and got electrocuted.
