Humkala Bhandari, the 66-year-old wife of 66-year-old Bheshraj Bhandari of Dhurkot rural municipality (5 Mantari) died after being hit by a current placed to protect the crops. Two sons and a daughter-in-law of the Bhandari couple were in Dubai for work and their daughter was married, so they were living alone in the house.
According to the District Police Office, Gulmi, Bhesharaj Bhandari, who is about 150 meters away from the house, conducted an electric shock on Tuesday evening to control wild boars by passing current through an electric pole.
