Kathmandu. While Prime Minister Balendra Shah is speeding up preparations for his visit to India, ending the diplomatic standoff between Kathmandu and New Delhi, Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of the ruling National Independent Party, Ravi Lamichhane, is going to visit China, the northern neighbor.
Prime Minister Shah's chief political advisor Kumar Bain recently reached New Delhi and held a secret meeting with India's National Security Advisor Ajit Doval to discuss bilateral relations and a possible visit to India.
Prime Minister Shah is trying to visit India before he leaves for the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly in September. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also come to Nepal for Pashupatinath and Lumbini darshan within the month of July.
