With the decision of the Internet Service Providers Association of Nepal not to sell cheap and low-speed packages, there is a debate among Nepali consumers about whether internet charges will become more expensive. The Association decided to close the reasonable price packages due to the increase in the price of electronic chipsets due to the rising fuel prices after the Middle East tensions, the increase in fiber prices, the high inflation and the rapid growth of AI, and the operating expenses of the service providers could not be raised due to this.
With the decision of the association, private internet service providers have announced that the sale of cheap packages has stopped.
