Kathmandu. The government has decided to approve the financial sector development strategy 2082,083 to 2086,087. The cabinet meeting held today decided to approve the financial sector development strategy.

Such are the decisions

- As a member country of the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ECMOD), Nepal will approve the annual contribution of 283 thousand 503 US dollars for the year 2024.

- Approve financial sector development strategy 2082 (083) to 2086 (087).

- To provide financial support of USD 350,000 for the reconstruction of the archives and Gangaghat temple of Myanmar's Mahamunifaya Buddhist pagoda damaged by the March 2025 earthquake.

- To aprove the National Policy against Human Trafficking 2082.

- To appoint Mr. Gobind Prasad Bhandari, Bhaktapur as the President of Gorkhapatra Institute.

- Recommending to the Honorable President to convene a session of the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament at the Federal Parliament Secretariat at Singhdarbar on January 4, 2082.
