At present, it is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions. The rest of the mountainous and hilly areas of the country are partly cloudy. The weather is mostly clear in the Terai region.

There will be thunderstorms in some parts of the Terai region today. It will be mostly cloudy in the rest of the Himalayan areas including the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi Province, partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly areas. The weather will be mainly clear in Terai region.

There is a possibility of light rain and snow with thunder and lightning in a few places in the Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in one or two places in the Himalayan areas of the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightening at some places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
