Kathmandu. At present, there is a partial influence of western winds as well as local winds in Nepal. It is generally cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly areas of the country including Koshi Province, while the rest of the country is partly cloudy. There are moderate to heavy rains and snowfall with thunder and lightning in a couple of places of Koshi Province.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in hilly and mountainous areas of the country and partly cloudy in Terai. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning in some places of the hilly and Himalayan areas of Far Western Province and few places of the rest of the hilly and Himalayan areas.
