Kathmandu. At present, there is a partial effect of western low pressure system in the country. In addition, it is generally cloudy in hilly and mountainous parts of the country, while the remaining parts are partially cloudy. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecast Division, there is light rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Gandaki province and a couple of places of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

According to the division, it will be cloudy in the hilly and Himalayan parts of the rest of the province including Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, and partly cloudy in the rest of the region. There is a chance of moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning at some places in the mountainous areas of the country.
