Ganesh Parajuli, the newly elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Special Committee on the Impact of Climate Change in the Himalayas, Climate Justice and the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli Disaster, has taken the oath of office and secrecy. On Wednesday, Speaker Dolprasad 9DP0 Aryal administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected Speaker Parajuli.
Parajuli, who was elected chairman with the unanimous support of all party members in the committee, spoke to the media after taking the oath and promised that the committee would work to bring justice to the people by studying the reality of the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli floods, which were seen as the biggest disasters in the last 500 years.
