Warning of squatters who will return to their old residence without permanent management
Kathmandu. The landless, slum dwellers and unorganized residents kept in the holding center have warned that they will be forced to return to their old residence if they are tried to evict them without finalizing the permanent management. The victims, who are in the holding center of the National Water Supply and Training Center located at the Nagarkot White Water Tank Office, issued a letter of concern on Thursday and expressed serious objection to the government's action. In the letter of concern issued by the victims, they have complained that the government has not given them a permanent solution even after two months have passed since they were kept in the holding center after the forced eviction.
According to them, the government has started preparing to vacate the holding center amid the lack of adequate accommodation, food and basic services. In the letter, it is mentioned that on June 9, some representatives of the government agencies came to the holding center and asked them to leave the center by paying Rs.
