Voting for National Assembly members is taking place today in all seven provinces
Kathmandu. The Election Commission has informed that all the preparations for the election to be held on January 11th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM today for the 18 posts vacant in the National Assembly from February 20, 2082 have been completed. Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, spokesperson of the Commission, said that out of the total 18 posts in Koshi province, one post for Khas Arya was unopposed and the election for the remaining 17 posts will be held today.
Sunil Bahadur Thapa of Nepali Congress, a candidate for Khas Arya from Koshi Province, was elected unopposed. Polling stations and polling centers of all seven provinces have been determined for voting for the remaining 17 posts.
