Voter education program starting today, will continue till February 17
Kathmandu. The voter education program has started across the country from today Sunday for the House of Representatives elections. According to the Election Education and Voter Education Guide, 2078, a special voter education program has been approved for the election of members of the House of Representatives. According to the same program, the program is going to be carried forward.
According to the special program approved by the commission, the voter education program is going ahead with the aim of informing the common citizens about the importance of voting rights and the voting process. The program, which started today, will be conducted in 6,743 wards of 753 local levels across the country until February 17. For that, one voter education volunteer will be mobilized.
