'Vehicle Mukt Asan' every Saturday from today
Kathmandu. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has started the 'Vehicle Free Asan' program from today to preserve the originality of the ancient urban settlement.
KAMPA Acting Head Sunita Dangol informed that the program will be conducted in the area from Kahmilachi 9 Kamalakshi Chowk to Asan, Bhotahiti Chowk to Asan and from Mahabuddha to Asan. Vehicle entry will be prohibited during this program which will be conducted every Saturday.
KAMPA is continuously working for the protection, promotion and promotion of tangible, intangible, natural and archival heritage within its geographical and administrative area. It is expected that the cultural identity of Kathmandu, the traditional lifestyle in the city, Jatra festival, and ritual culture will be passed down through the work done in this way.
