Kathmandu. Activist Vedika KC has been arrested from Kathmandu's Jorpati on charges of spreading misleading propaganda and character assassination on social media. The Central Cyber ​​Bureau of the Nepal Police arrested her on Thursday based on the official complaint of the storyteller Radhika Dasi.

According to Bureau spokesperson and Superintendent of Police SP Dilip Kumar Giri, KC has been detained for further investigation after receiving a complaint of spreading rumors through social media, insulting people and trying to commit character assassination.
