United students will protest against the decision to ban student organizations

Kathmandu. After the government decided to ban student organizations under the 'Governmental Reforms', the United Student Movement strongly opposed it and announced the program of the movement. On Friday, the United Students' Organization held a press conference and announced the program of the movement, demanding its immediate cancellation, deeming it unconstitutional, undemocratic and authoritarian.
They said that the government's decision has severely affected the fundamental rights of citizens and students, the right to organize, freedom of expression and ideological beliefs. The movement side reminded the past movements by mentioning that the history of student movement in Nepal is deeply connected with political change, democratic struggle, building socio-political awareness, nationalism and people's livelihood.
