UML secretary Mahesh Basnet single recommendation from Bhaktapur-2

Kathmandu. CPN-UML has intensified the candidate recommendation process for the House of Representatives elections to be held on February 21. At the same time, the name of UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet from Bhaktapur Constituency No. 2 has been recommended individually.

Basnet was elected from the same constituency in 2074 but was defeated by the Congress-Maoist alliance in the 2079 election. It is said that the party has positively evaluated the role of Basnet, who has actively entered the political arena against the chaotic activities seen in the name of Genji movement recently.
