UML reduced nomination fee, five point guidelines for selection of convention delegates

Kathmandu. CPN-UML has issued five-point instructions for selecting representatives for the 11th Congress. Kashinath Adhikari, member of the party standing committee and head of the organization department, informed that the organization department of the party decided on five points through a virtual meeting on Monday evening.
The department has also instructed not to charge a maximum of Rs 1,000 as a candidate fee. In some districts, the registration fee for representative's candidacy has been reported to be too high, so the department has intervened in it.
According to the official, before entering the election process, the final voter list of the respective constituencies must be published. For this, instructions have been given to make the latest circular of the Central Committee a basis.
Similarly, the department has also issued instructions to immediately inform the Central Organization Department of the number of the final voter list. Similarly, instructions have been issued to make a final effort for consensus by the evening of the 12th, and if not, go to the election process on the 13th to choose a representative. This instruction of the department has instructed not to postpone the selection of representatives to be done on the 13th under any pretext.
