UML exit from Bagmati government, resignation of 6 ministers
Kathmandu. CPN-UML has decided to withdraw its support to the Bagmati provincial government and has prepared to resign collectively from its 6 ministers. It is said that the resignation will be submitted by email through the office of the UML parliamentary party. UML decided to leave the government after Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Banian reduced the number of ministries from 14 to 8.
The UML ministers had prepared to resign earlier too, but were stopped after instructions from the party centre.
